Ruth Cadbury

Ruth Cadbury is a British politician and planner who has served as the Member of Parliament for Brentford and Isleworth since 2015. A member of the Labour Party, she previously served as a councillor for the London Borough of Hounslow for nearly three decades, including a term as Deputy Leader. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has held various shadow ministerial roles and currently serves as the Chair of the Commons Transport Select Committee. A Nontheist Quaker and humanist, Cadbury is known for her focus on social justice and planning policy.
