Ruth Cadbury

Ruth Cadbury is a British politician and planner who has served as the Member of Parliament for Brentford and Isleworth since 2015. A member of the Labour Party, she previously served as a councillor for the London Borough of Hounslow for nearly three decades. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has held various shadow ministerial roles, including Shadow Minister for Planning and Shadow Minister for Prisons, Parole and Probation, and currently serves as the Chair of the Commons Transport Select Committee. She is a Nontheist Quaker and a prominent advocate for social justice and humanist causes.
