Ruth Waldmann is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Bavaria, representing the Munich-Milbertshofen constituency since 2013. Born in Bonn and raised in Munich, she studied sociology and social psychology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Before her election to the state parliament, she worked as a research assistant, lecturer, and as a manager for the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) in Munich. She currently serves as the deputy chair of the Committee for Health and Care in the Bavarian Landtag.
