Séraphin Akure-Davain is a Gabonese politician and medical doctor who currently serves as the Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals. A former orthopedic surgeon and hospital administrator, he entered politics in the early 2000s, serving as the mayor of Lambaréné and as a long-time member of the National Assembly. Throughout his career, he has founded several political movements, including the Alliance for a New Gabon and the party Les Démocrates, before establishing the Free Democrats in 2023. He is recognized for his extensive background in public health and his long-standing involvement in the Gabonese opposition.
