S. Shritharan

Sivagnanam Shritharan is a Sri Lankan Tamil politician and educator who currently serves as a Member of Parliament and the leader of the Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK). Born in 1968, he previously worked as a teacher and served as the principal of Kilinochchi Maha Vidyalayam. A prominent figure in Tamil nationalist politics, he was first elected to Parliament in 2010 and has been re-elected in subsequent general elections. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for Tamil rights and survived an assassination attempt in 2011.
