Shanakiyan Ragul Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam is a Sri Lankan Tamil politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Batticaloa District. Born in 1990, he is the grandson of former MP S. M. Rasamanickam and was educated at Trinity College, Kandy. Initially associated with the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, he later joined the Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi. He was first elected to Parliament in 2020 as a candidate for the Tamil National Alliance and was successfully re-elected in 2024. He is noted for his trilingual speaking ability in parliamentary debates.
