Saïd Omar Oili is a French politician serving as a Senator for Mayotte since 2023. Born in Dzaoudzi, he has had a long career in local governance, notably serving as the President of the General Council of Mayotte from 2004 to 2008 and as the Mayor of Dzaoudzi from 2014 to 2023. A specialist in urban planning and development, he founded the political party New Momentum for Mayotte (NEMA). He is a Knight of the Legion of Honour and currently sits as an affiliate of the Socialist, Ecologist and Republican group in the Senate.
