Saad Sherida al-Kaabi

Saad Sherida al-Kaabi is a Qatari politician and executive who serves as the Minister of State for Energy Affairs. He is also the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, the state-owned corporation responsible for the country's oil and gas operations. A petroleum engineering graduate from Pennsylvania State University, al-Kaabi has held various technical and leadership roles within the energy sector since 1986. He is recognized for his pivotal role in expanding Qatar's LNG and GTL production capabilities and has represented the nation in international energy forums, including the Net-Zero Producers Forum and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
