Sajal Ghosh

Sajal Ghosh is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing the Baranagar constituency. Born in 1972 in Kolkata, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calcutta. Before his election to the state assembly in 2026, Ghosh served as a councillor in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation representing Ward No. 50. Throughout his political career, he has been affiliated with the Indian National Congress and the All India Trinamool Congress before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2021. In addition to his legislative duties, he is a partner at the Shovona Medical Foundation and has been a prominent figure in Kolkata's civic politics.
