Samira Nawa

Samira Nawa Amini is a Danish politician serving as a member of the Folketing for the Social Liberal Party. Born to Afghan parents who fled the Soviet–Afghan War, she holds a Master of Science in economics from the University of Copenhagen. Nawa first ran for parliament in 2015 and was subsequently elected to the Folketing in the 2019 Danish general election. She is recognized for her work in national politics and her background as an economist.
