Sami Gemayel

Samy Amine Gemayel is a Lebanese politician, lawyer, and current Member of the Lebanese Parliament. Since 2015, he has served as the leader of the Kataeb Party, a historic political organization founded by his grandfather. A prominent figure in the Lebanese opposition, Gemayel is a vocal critic of Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement, consistently advocating for Lebanese neutrality, decentralization, and the implementation of UN Resolution 1559. Throughout his career, he has championed legislative reforms, including the abolition of laws regarding honor crimes and the passage of domestic violence legislation. He remains a central voice in the push for political accountability and structural reform within the Lebanese state.
