Sarah Coombes is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for West Bromwich since 2024. Educated at Jesus College, Oxford, she previously worked as head of policy and communications for Labour deputy leader Tom Watson and as an advisor to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. In her parliamentary role, she has served as a parliamentary private secretary to the Leader of the House of Commons and later to the Home Secretary. Coombes has been active in legislative advocacy, notably launching a campaign in 2025 to address the use of illegal 'ghost' number plates that evade automatic recognition cameras.
