武田哲

Satoru Takeda is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Takizawa in Iwate Prefecture. Born in 1964 in the former Takizawa Village, he graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Tamagawa University and worked as a farmer, specializing in Aigamo duck farming. Takeda began his political career as a member of the Takizawa Village Council and later served as a member of the Iwate Prefectural Assembly. He was elected mayor in November 2022 after defeating the incumbent.
