Óscar Iván Brito Zapata is a Mexican lawyer, activist, and politician currently serving as a federal deputy for the 3rd district of Yucatán in the LXVI Legislature of the Chamber of Deputies. A member of the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA), he gained early political prominence as a spokesperson for the #YoSoy132 movement in 2012. Before his election to Congress, he held various public administration roles, including serving as the state manager for Financiera para el Bienestar in Yucatán and as the head of the local office for the National Commission of Aquaculture and Fisheries (CONAPESCA). Within the Chamber of Deputies, he contributes to the committees on Budget and Public Accounts, Justice, and Constitutional Points.
