Óscar Puente

Óscar Puente is a Spanish politician who has served as the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility since 2023. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), he previously served as the Mayor of Valladolid from 2015 to 2023 and as a city councillor for the same municipality starting in 2007. Puente, who holds a law degree from the University of Valladolid, began his legal career in 1995. Known for his direct communication style, he has been a prominent figure in national politics, often engaging in public debates regarding government policy and international relations.
