W. Scott Montgomery IV is an American politician serving as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives for the 32nd District. He assumed office in 2024 after running unopposed in the general election to succeed incumbent Max Hyde Jr. In the state legislature, Montgomery serves on the House Legislative Oversight Committee and the Medical, Military, Public and Municipal Affairs Committee. He is a descendant of Walter Scott Montgomery Jr., the former head of Spartan Mills.
