Sean Liao

Sean Liao is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan. Born in 1990, he began his political career as an aide to his mother, Taichung City Councilor Huang Hsin-hui, and later worked for former Taichung Mayor Jason Hu. Before his election to the legislature in 2024, he served as a spokesperson for the Kuomintang. Liao holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Yuan Ze University and a Master of Public Administration from National Chengchi University. In the 2024 legislative election, he successfully defeated the incumbent candidate in Taichung's fourth electoral district with the endorsement of both the Kuomintang and the Taiwan People's Party.
