Searle Turton

Searle Turton is a Canadian politician serving as the Alberta Minister of Children and Family Services and as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Spruce Grove-Stony Plain. First elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023, he previously served as a city councillor for Spruce Grove for nine years. Before his provincial cabinet appointment, Turton worked in the technology and construction sectors and held various legislative committee roles. His policy focus has included streamlining adoption processes, infrastructure development, and supporting foster and kinship caregivers.
