Sena Nanayakkara

Sena Nanayakkara is a Sri Lankan politician and academic who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Anuradhapura Electoral District since November 2024. He was elected to the 17th Parliament of Sri Lanka as a candidate for the National People's Power coalition, securing 86,150 preferential votes. Prior to his political career, he established himself as a Senior Professor in Mass Communication, having earned his B.A., M.A. Research, and Ph.D. from the University of Kelaniya. His legislative focus includes communication policies, education, and public welfare initiatives.
