Shafiqul Islam Masud is a Bangladeshi politician, author, and Member of Parliament representing the Patuakhali-2 constituency. He serves as a member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and as the Secretary of its Dhaka Metropolitan South branch. A former central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, he completed his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Bangla Language and Literature at the University of Rajshahi.
