Shane Jett

Shane Jett is an American politician and member of the Cherokee Nation who has served in the Oklahoma Senate representing the 17th district since 2020. Previously, he served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2004 to 2010 and has held various roles including chair of the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus. A conservative legislator, Jett has focused his career on reducing government spending, supporting Second Amendment rights, and opposing critical race theory and DEI initiatives in state institutions. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and a former officer in the United States Navy Reserve.
