Shankar Ghosh

Shankar Ghosh is an Indian politician currently serving as a Cabinet Minister of West Bengal and a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Siliguri constituency. Initially active in student and youth movements, he transitioned to local governance as a councillor for the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, where he held portfolios in education, sports, culture, and health. Since joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2021, he has focused on civic outreach and administrative reform, notably launching the 'Sorashori Shankar' public grievance program to address constituent concerns directly.
