Sharadwat Mukherjee is an Indian politician and oncologist currently serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing the Bidhannagar constituency. Elected in 2026 as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he also serves as the Health Minister of West Bengal. Before entering politics, Mukherjee had a distinguished medical career, working as a consultant at Manipal Hospital and at the Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute. He holds an MBBS from Calcutta Medical College and an MD in General Medicine from the University of Calcutta, followed by a DM in Medical Oncology.
