Sharon Moriwaki

Sharon Moriwaki is an American politician serving as a member of the Hawaii Senate, representing District 12. Born in Honolulu, she pursued her education at Kaimuki High School before earning degrees from the University of Southern California and Loyola Law School. Prior to her election to the state legislature in 2018, she practiced law at a private firm and held various government roles, including serving as the deputy director of the Hawaii Department of Labor under Governor John Waihee. In the Senate, she is actively involved in the Housing, Technology, and Ways and Means committees.
