Sharon Nir is an Israeli politician and former Israel Defense Forces officer who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for the Yisrael Beiteinu party. Born in Haifa, she had a distinguished military career in the C4I Corps, where she became the first woman to command an operational communications battalion and later served as the Chief of Staff's advisor on Gender Affairs. After retiring from military service, she worked as a lecturer at Reichman University before entering national politics in 2022.
