شريف فاروق

Sherif Farouk is an Egyptian banker and academic who has served as the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade of Egypt since July 2024. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he held several prominent leadership roles in the financial and public sectors, including serving as the Chairman of the National Postal Authority and as the CEO of Nasser Social Bank. With a career spanning over three decades in banking, he also worked as a senior executive at the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Farouk holds a PhD in Business Administration from Ain Shams University.
