Sherry Gambin-Walsh

Sherry Gambin-Walsh is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador for the district of Placentia-St. Mary's. A former nurse, she was first elected in 2015 and has held various cabinet positions, including Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and Minister of Service NL. In May 2025, she was appointed Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality. Throughout her career, she has been involved in significant provincial political developments, including the 2018 harassment scandal and a 2020 investigation regarding cabinet confidentiality.
