椎木伸一

Shinichi Shiinoki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Izumi in Kagoshima Prefecture. Born in 1959, he began his career in the Kagoshima Prefectural Government in 1978 and later served as the Deputy Mayor of Izumi starting in 2010. He was first elected as Mayor of Izumi in 2018 after running unopposed. Since then, he has secured re-election twice, most recently winning his third term in April 2026. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on local administration and the development of Izumi as a vibrant city.
