Shisir Khanal

Shisir Khanal is a Nepalese politician serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and a two-term member of parliament for Kathmandu 6. A senior member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, he previously served briefly as Minister of Education, Science and Technology in 2023. Before entering politics, he co-founded Teach For Nepal and was active in international reconstruction and development efforts. He holds degrees from the University of Bridgeport and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
