Shiv Pratap Shukla

Shiv Pratap Shukla is an Indian politician and statesman currently serving as the Governor of Telangana since 2026. Previously, he served as the 22nd Governor of Himachal Pradesh from 2023 to 2026 and held the position of Minister of State for Finance in the First Modi ministry. A long-time member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shukla was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly four consecutive times between 1989 and 1996, where he served as a state minister for Jails and Rural Development. He also represented Uttar Pradesh as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.
