
Simonas Gentvilas

Simonas Gentvilas is a Lithuanian politician serving as a Member of the Seimas for the Pajūris constituency. Born in 1984, he is the son of politician Eugenijus Gentvilas and has held various public roles, including Klaipėda City Councillor and advisor to the Mayor of Klaipėda. In December 2020, he was appointed Minister of Environment in the Šimonytė Cabinet. Educated in several European countries, he holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Oslo and a master's degree in Urban Development from the University of Vienna.
