Simone Kirschbaum

Simone Kirschbaum is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg. Born in Göppingen, she trained as a youth and residential care worker before qualifying as a midwife in 2002, a profession she has practiced alongside her work as a grief counselor. Kirschbaum joined the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in 2017 and has served as a member of the Backnang municipal council since 2019. She entered the state parliament in October 2024 as a successor to Gernot Gruber and was subsequently re-elected in 2026.
