Sophie Chatel is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Pontiac since 2021. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished career as a tax expert, serving as a senior advisor at the Canada Revenue Agency and the federal Department of Finance, and later as the Head of the Tax Treaty Unit at the OECD.
