Spyros Vrettos

Spyros Vrettos is a Greek politician currently serving as the Mayor of Acharnes, a position he has held since 2019. Born on June 18, 1976, in Acharnes, he holds a degree in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has a background in computer programming. Vrettos began his political career as a City Councilor in 2010, where he notably managed the Secondary School Committee. As Mayor, he has focused on regional development, flood protection infrastructure, and strengthening international cultural ties, including fostering relations with Kazakhstan.
