Stefan Schmidt

Stefan Schmidt is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag representing the state of Bavaria since 2017. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens, he serves on the Tourism Committee and the Finance Committee, and acts as the parliamentary group's spokesman for municipal finances. Before entering federal politics, Schmidt worked as a research assistant at the University of Regensburg and served as a staff member for Bundestag deputies Thomas Gambke and Doris Wagner. He is a trained secondary school teacher with a focus on political education.
