Stefan Zierke

Stefan Zierke is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag representing the Uckermark – Barnim I district since 2013. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he previously served as Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth from 2018 to 2021 under the Merkel government. Within the parliament, he has focused on tourism and transport policy, currently serving as the SPD parliamentary group's spokesperson for tourism. He is also active in various advisory and foundation boards, including the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship.
