Stefano Lo Russo

Stefano Lo Russo is an Italian politician, geologist, and academic serving as the Mayor of Turin and the Metropolitan City of Turin since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a long-time city councilor and as Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning. Beyond his political career, he is a Full Professor of Engineering Geology at the Politecnico di Torino, specializing in hydrogeology and geothermal energy.
