A career diplomat, she previously worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, served as a counselor at the Burkinabe embassy in Paris, and acted as the permanent secretary of the National Commission for La Francophonie. She also served as the Consul General of Burkina Faso in Milan, Italy, before her appointment to the government of transition.
