Stephan Brandner

Stephan Brandner is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party since 2017. Born in 1966 in Herten, he trained as an industrial management assistant before studying law at the University of Regensburg and working as a lawyer. Within the Bundestag, he chaired the Legal Affairs Committee from 2018 to 2019 and has served as a deputy chairman of the AfD since November 2019. He is known for his alignment with the party's nationalist wing and has faced public controversy regarding his political rhetoric.
