Stephanie Clayton

Stephanie Clayton is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 19th district since 2013. Originally elected as a Republican, she switched her party affiliation to the Democratic Party in 2018. Throughout her tenure, she has held various leadership roles, including minority whip and ranking minority member on several committees such as Commerce, Labor and Economic Development. A graduate of Emporia State University, she is a founding member of the Bipartisan Women’s Caucus and remains active in state legislative policy.
