Steve Huffman

Stephen A. Huffman is an American politician and physician currently serving as a member of the Ohio Senate, representing the 5th district since 2019. A lifelong resident of Miami County, he previously served two terms in the Ohio House of Representatives. Huffman, a graduate of the University of Toledo, has maintained a career as a practicing physician. During his tenure in the Senate, he has chaired the Health Committee and served on various committees including Agriculture and Natural Resources. His political career has been marked by both legislative leadership and public controversy regarding his comments on public health and racial disparities.
