Steve Thomas

Steven Caldwell Thomas is an Australian politician currently serving as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Council for the South West Region, a position he has held since 2017. Before his current tenure in the upper house, he served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly representing the electorate of Capel from 2005 to 2008. A former veterinary surgeon, Thomas has held various shadow ministerial portfolios throughout his parliamentary career. He also served as the deputy leader of the Liberal Party in Western Australia from 2023 to 2024.
