Steven Brunk

Steven Brunk is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 85th district. He previously held this seat from 2003 to 2016 before resigning to lead the Kansas Family Policy Alliance, a conservative advocacy group. Following a brief period in the real estate sector and an unsuccessful bid for the Sedgwick County Commission, Brunk returned to the state legislature in 2025 after being appointed to fill a vacancy. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his conservative political stances, including advocacy for religious influence in government and opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage.
