金澤俊

Suguru Kanazawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tomakomai, Hokkaido. Born and raised in Tomakomai, he graduated from Doshisha University before working at Mitsubishi Corporation and later the Tomakomai City Hall. He began his political career in 2007, serving five consecutive terms as a member of the Tomakomai City Council, where he also held the position of Council Chair. In December 2024, he was elected as mayor with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party, Komeito, and the New Party Daichi, succeeding the former mayor.
