Susan K. Herrera is an American politician currently serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 41st district, representing portions of Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, and Taos counties. Elected in 2018 and assuming office in 2019, she succeeded incumbent Debbie Rodella. Prior to her legislative career, Herrera held several leadership roles in education and community development, including serving as the executive director of the Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation and as a director for the Northern New Mexico Community College Foundation. She also worked as a senior associate at Northern Community Development Consulting Associates and was an employee of the University of New Mexico Nursing Department. Herrera resides in Embudo, New Mexico.
