Susanna Vela Palomares

Susanna Vela Palomares is an Andorran politician currently serving as a member of the General Council of Andorra. A member of the Social Democratic Party, she has held various leadership roles within the party, including serving as its president from 2019 to 2021. Her career includes significant experience in public administration, having worked as the head of the Archives and Document Management Area for the Government of Andorra for many years. She previously served as the Minister of Education and Culture from 2009 to 2011 and has been actively involved in legislative committees focusing on health, education, and culture. Vela Palomares holds a degree in Medieval History and a master's degree in Public and Social Policies.
