Susanne de Roy van Zuidewijn-Rive

Susanne de Roy van Zuidewijn-Rive is a Dutch jurist and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ouder-Amstel, a position she assumed on December 19, 2024. She holds a background in law and art history from the University of Groningen. Before her mayoral appointment, she served as a municipal executive (wethouder) in Bloemendaal from 2018 to 2022, overseeing portfolios including social affairs, youth care, and education. Earlier in her career, she worked as a lawyer in The Hague and as a corporate legal counsel for Randstad. She is a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) and has held various leadership roles in social and cultural organizations.
