Svatopluk Pěček

Svatopluk Pěček is a Czech local politician currently serving as the Mayor of Břeclav and as a member of the South Moravian Regional Assembly. A former firefighter with a bachelor's degree, he entered local politics in 2014 when he was elected to the Břeclav city council. He served as deputy mayor before assuming the office of mayor in 2019 following a coalition change. Pěček has been a consistent representative for the ANO movement, successfully defending his municipal mandate in multiple elections and expanding his political reach to the regional level in 2024.
