Sven Liebhauser

Sven Liebhauser is a German politician and the current Mayor of Döbeln, having assumed office in 2019 and secured re-election for a second term in 2026. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he served as a member of the Landtag of Saxony from 2009 to 2019, where he focused on budget, finance, and petition committees. Before entering full-time politics, Liebhauser worked as a bank clerk and in the judicial service. He has been a long-standing member of the local city council and district council in the Mittelsachsen region.
