Sven Weigt

Sven Weigt is a German politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Bruchsal since October 2025. Prior to this role, he held the position of Mayor of Karlsdorf-Neuthard from 2007 to 2025. Weigt began his career in public administration, working for the Kommunaler Versorgungsverband Baden-Württemberg and as the head of the municipal office in Forst. Since 2009, he has also served as a member of the district council of Karlsruhe, where he has led the CDU faction since 2016.
