Taft Love is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Wyoming Senate for the 6th district. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, he holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and science from the University of Wyoming. Before his legislative career, he worked as a biologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and established himself as a rancher and business owner. Love previously served on the Laramie County School District Number 2 board of trustees and chaired the Laramie County Republican Party Executive Committee. He was appointed to the state senate in September 2025 following the resignation of Darin Smith.
